Fitness Now LTD T & Cs 

 

1. PAR-Q  

In addition to reading this, Clients will be required to complete our Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) form electronically before attending a bootcamp class or any personal training sessions. 

You may be asked to repeat this from time to time so that we can ensure our records are up to date. 

It is your responsibility to inform your instructor of any changes to your health, and submit a new PARQ form with this updated information.

 

2. Contraindications 

If you answered “YES” to any of the Health Waiver questions noted below, you are required to consult with your GP & receive permission to engage in physical activity sessions with Fitness Now LTD. 

  • Do you or any member of your immediate family suffer from any form of heart condition? 

  • Do you feel pain in your chest when you do physical activity?

  • Have you been diagnosed with any health conditions? e.g Diabetes, Hyperlipidemia, Hypothyroidism, High Blood Pressure, Heart Condition?

  • Do you have a bone or joint problem (for example, back, knee or hip) that you know is worsened by physical activity?

  • Do you know of any other reason why you should not do physical activity?

If you choose not to make us aware of your condition(s), or do not consult your GP you may be at risk of worsening your condition(s), or risk further health complications including death.

3. Pricing

All services & promotions offered by Fitness Now LTD are subject to change.

4. Punctuality

In order to provide the best possible service to all Clients, Fitness Now LTD  asks that all Clients be ready to begin their session at the scheduled time. Time lost at the beginning of a session due to a client’s lateness cannot be made up at the end of the session as that could potentially impact the next scheduled client(s)/class.

 

5. Cancellations, Refunds, session Transfers

Pay as you go - In order to be eligible for a refund, you must give us over 24 hours notice for your cancellation. 

Cancellations between 24 - 12 hours prior to the session will be offered a session transfer. This allows you to move your booking to another time. This can only be used once per cancellation.

Cancellations 12 hours or less prior to your session will receive no refund or session transfer.

 

6. Preparing For Your Session

Appropriate sportswear clothing & footwear must be worn during your session. Please consider the weather conditions & the likely conditions of the area you will be training in. For example if it is rainy then you should bring waterproof clothing, shoes with good grip, and gloves with good grip.

You must ensure that you bring sufficient water in an appropriate container to ensure you can stay hydrated. Glass bottles may break & contaminate the area, Fitness Now LTD recommends a typical sports plastic water bottle.

You must ensure you prepare for the weather or conditions of the area where you will be exercising. Suncream, hayfever tablets, sun glasses, hats, waterproof clothing, grippy footwear and gloves are all items you may need to consider.

7. Stopping Exercise

You have the right to terminate a particular exercise or workout at any time. You are in control of your workouts! If an exercise is uncomfortable or painful, or if you want to stop for any reason, you may do so. If a particular exercise is painful for you to do or you have an injury or other limitation that makes it difficult for you to do, Fitness Now LTD can attempt to substitute another exercise to work that muscle group.

8. Results

You will get from your workouts what you put in. Results will vary by individual and Fitness Now LTD cannot guarantee specific results. The Client must acknowledge that the Client is responsible for their decisions regarding whether to exercise consistently, eat properly, rest enough, and live a healthy lifestyle. This will ultimately dictate weight lost, fitness, and performance outcomes.

9. Privacy Policy

Fitness Now LTD respects your privacy. Due to the nature of our services, it is necessary to collect certain personal information from Clients. All information collected is treated as STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL, and Fitness Now LTD will not share or redistribute your information with any third party except as necessary to provide services purchased by the Client, or as required by law. Any information gathered from a client is simply for our records and, if applicable, necessary to provide the services to the Client for which we have been contracted.

10. Risks of Exercise

Please be aware that you engage in  exercise at your own risk. Whilst physical activity has many benefits, there is a risk of injury, or negative impacts on your health. Due to the outdoor nature there is an increased risk of slips & trips, alongside potential for harm from weather conditions.

Be aware of your surroundings and exercise as safely as you can. You should fully complete the PAR-Q form and verbally notify the instructor of any injuries/ailments/conditions that you may be experiencing. We ask and encourage if your health/injury status has changed, then you inform your instructor prior to class. You may be required to get the consent of a specialist in order to be allowed to participate.
